“In a minute…”
I caught myself in a conversation with my son recently and it concluded with me saying, “in a minute”. I began to think how often I say the phrase “in a minute” and even more alarming than that phrase was the thought how often do I really follow through with what I’m committing to. I think what I’m really saying when I say “in a minute” is I would rather procrastinate right now. Procrastination even though it comes across as so subtle is one of the biggest threats to you fulfilling your God given destiny that there is. Time is one of the most powerful currencies in the universe and the Bible makes it clear that we are to maximize what we’ve been given. Think about the parable of the talents. The man who was given 5 talents maximized them and turned them into 10. So “The Master” tells him good job and gives him another talent. click here
